Our Area contest is this Tuesday and I'm excited and nervous!!! AHH! If we win we take it up to four, two to three hour practices a week! AH! But if we lose we drop practices and start back up in summer. I am soooo excited for the state events! I get to compete in horse judging and hopefully parli!!! LIFE IS GREAT! Also, i'm so close to Flag is Up, as soon as I turn nineteen I get to go!!! I got a horse trailer that is actually MY families now loll. I am going to build a tack room in it and use it to travel barrel race , show, train yada yada yada lol AND I am getting a new horse to take to Cali-forn-I-A, OMG LIFE COULD NOT GET ANY BETTER!!! REALLY!!!
I get to go to Battle of the Bulls friday! WOOT WOOT! A FULL EVENING OF BULL RIDING, BARREL RACING AND MUTTON BUSTING!!! CAN I GET A HOLLA! Ok everyone! So our computer has 13 viruses, so its getting fixed! I am using my aunt's computer right now, but it will be bout two-three months til the new site is up! I'm making this one perfect!!!
Anyway the new Breyer now has a name, its not quite official yet, I'm still going to look, But I kind of like the ring of it.
The new Breyer is Manco Capac, by the way, hes gorgeous!
Show Name: Ohanzee Mukki (which means Shadow Child)
Barn Name: Yuma (which means son of a chief)
So I am thinking that I am going to make him a Spanish Mustang, and havel like his great grand-sire be a Peruvian Paso and he caught the 'gaited gene' or whatever.
And I am going to say that an indian friend gave him to shawna and he has like great bloodlines within the tribe, and the tribe chief thinks that he is a horse from a legend. And the legend is going to be figured out soon idk what it is yet! lol but it will come soon. ANNNNYwho, thats that. he's gonna be about three and.... thats all ive figured out so far! I've been researching names for like 2 hours, well and working on hte site lol
Also I went to this awesome saddle shop today and I'm getting a custom breast collar and bridle next week! AND it sells RETIRED BREYERS!!!!! AND LIKE TONS OF AWESOME ONES!!! SO I HAVE A NEW PLACE TO BUY BREYERS!!!! WOOT WOOT! only downfall is is that its twenty minutes away but still! lol

Ok everyone! I figure its about time for a more formal blog post, since we haven't seen one for a while. Well, here it is, my friends.
I would like to start off by giving a little speech. Yeah, yeah. I know "a speech? Really?! Come on, thats the LAST thing we want to hear." Well your getting one anyway. I have had a lot of people tell me, "your never going to make it! Your going to be a loser! Your never going to make it in your career with horses! And you will NEVER get a boyfriend! Your pathetic and ugly!" Well....... GUESS WHAT!!! So much for formal. I don't like people telling me ow pathetic I am. Because I'm not. I've made mistakes. Everyone does. But I've fixed them. And I'm trying to be better. Let me show you something.
Hypothesis: Your never going to make it in your career with horses. Proved WRONG: I am now in an internship, and will be taking over a horse training business next year. I have competed in shows, I am training my own horse, I am doing finishing work on other peoples horses, I ride other peoples' horses for them.
Hypothesis:You will NEVER get a boyfriend! Proved WRONG: I have THE MOST AMAZING boyfriend on the face of the planet. He lives on a farm and LOVES working with farm animals, he is going on a mission after he graduates next year.
Hypothesis: Your a loser, your pathetic, your ugly. Proved WRONG: I am going to Monty Roberts Flag Is Up Farms after I graduate, I have had people who train and HAVE shown AND WON in WORLD SHOWS tell me that I am a VERY talented and GIFTED rider, they said I am a born natural. I have had a professional photographer tell me how gorgeous and beautiful I am.
So..... hmmmm. where does that leave us? I am NOT a loser. I am NOT pathetic, I am NOT ugly, I AM making it VERY WELL in my career with horses, I DID get a boyfriend.
Isn't that FUNNY! Ha-----ha. Well, guys. I think I'm gonna go work on a couple of my books so they will be finished on time to send to the publisher.
OH, before I leave! Keep an eye out, Cattle Creek may be reopening soon!

My heck everyone, I am so freaking happy right now. I literally have everything I want (that is possible for me to have right now) I am just so freaking happy! So I have my colt, he is so amazing. And the best mare in the world. I got a kick A new saddle, a new ridle and the horse trailer is fixed. Everything is finally working out with friends, I'm right where I want to be. I am getting good grades, I am LOVING FFA (I am running for officer). I have the most amazing freaking almost-so-close-a smidgin away- boyfriend. He is fun to be around, funny, very sweet, nice, doesn't judge people, hes a farmer, and he is way cute. So, story time!!
We went to the haunted corn maze last night for an ffa activity, and it was sooo fun!!! We had to wait in line for like twenty minutes and while we were waiting we were all just talking. And when it was our time to go in I put both my arms out and said "link arms everyone!" So Brittany linked arms with my right arm, and Bailey linked arms with my left arm. But that really cute boy I mentioned above?--held my hand!!! So we held hands the whole way through. And at the starting of the maze when we were listening to this creepy old lady talk at the first of the maze (she was part of the maze, it was creepy lol) that boy was still holding my hand, standing behind me and resting his chin on my shoulder. Anyway, after the maze we all got hot cocoa and sat by the fire. And on the bus ride home, its an hour long bus ride, he had his hand on my knee. It was so freaking amazing.
Well, i start interning my friend with the training business in march, I am SO pumped!
thats all for now, got to go to Geometry. Cya!

Ayo! Hi everyone, I haven't written for awhile! Everything is going pretty good! Here is some stuff that has been going on lately!
-First off, two days ago..... I got to ride.... one of HOLLYWOOD DUN IT'S GRANDSONS!!!!! I was SOOOO STOKED!!! He is a sorrel, perfect quarter horse gelding, 4 years old... and well just awesome. One of my friends trains horses for other people, and she invited me to bring Norman down to the arena and ride with her while she worked two horses. Of course I said yes. Well, our trailer broke down, go figure, so I wasn't able to take Normy. But I got to the arena at the time my friend said she would be there, and she wasn't there. So I looked around the stables, looking for another of my friends that boards there. And her horse's stall was empty. So I went into the little indoor (the big indoor was closed for a stupid art gallery... arg) and she was in there working her three year old and two horses for another lady. We talked and stuff and then finally, an hour later, my other friend showed up. The horses she was training for a guy had given her crap about loading. So my friends rode and I talked to them (ok, the friend that boards at the arena, is Heather. And hte girl that invited me to come is Teagan, Teagan is in FFA with me and is in my equine science class) And I decided to call my mom and see if she could check hte trailer one more time and try and bring Norman. To no avail, Teagan just said, have her bring you a saddle and you can ride that four year old. And so I did. As I was waiting for my saddle, these ladies came in and kicked us out , saying they had the indoor rented at five thirty, it was only four thirty! In that little group that rented the arena was a lady from my ward that is a kick A barrel racer and goat tyer. Anyway we went to the outdoors, which are two feet of mud because of hte rain storm, and I got to ride out there. It was waay fun. By the time we were done it was dark, and we had to start the process of loading. Now, these two horses are claustrophobic(however ya spell) and Teagan has a two horse trailer.... everyone hates two horse trailers. I had to leave after two hours of me, Teagan, and Teagans trainer trying to load them, and we finally got the mare loaded. Then Teagans friend Cheyenne, Teagan had called Cheyenne to help, showed up and said, take the mare out, lets get them over this stupid fear. And of course right them my mom showed up. So I had to go, but it took them two hours after that.
Anywho, Penny is up for sale, anyone want a hoss? I am also working on getting a job at a ranch to clean stalls and teach lessons. I ride peoples horses down for them... I LOVE HORSES!!!
OK! I am sooo excited to go to Snow College!!! I am on the horse evaluation team in FFA and we get to go! I have to be at the highschool at exactly 4:45 in the morning to start heading over... aah!!! And my FFA jacket came last week, its awesome!!
So my friend roped me into going to Sadie's with her cousin, that I don't even know, and I am excited. But I went to the football game with that friend against Springville, Springville smashed us. We left at half time and it was 14 to 0 hahahah! Anyway we then went to walmart to get ideas for shirts for me and the kid I asked. We have NoTHING! But, yeah.
Sketch decided to jump out of the back of the truck while my dad was going fifty miles an hour, and broke his leg. He is at the vet recovering from surgery right now. Our dogs got in a fight with a skunk, so Lady REAKS! Doug jumped through one of the screens in the window, grabbed Sawse(our cat) and killed him. Two days later Doug ran to the house with another cat in his mouth, and I saved that cat, it was all going fine until Doug got loose from his chain and killed it. So Doug is going to the pound.
I'm going to work Normy, I'll talk to ya later
